Can not add more than 2 Phones

Great Software thanks!
But is the program limited to a certain number of phones? When I try to append a third phone it replaces automatically my last entry.

There is a second problem. I want display on my computer all missed calls when my phone is with ringer switched off in my jacked.
But the notification disappears after a while. At the moment I use growl to solve this problem. But not all notification settings in growl are working correctly.

Thanks Christian

The current limits are:
2 cell phones
8 landlines
4 VoIP adaptors with 2 lines each

Can you say more about what you are trying to do? Is there a particular reason you want to monitor more than 2 cell phones?

This is configurable under the "More" tab. Uncheck "Time out when call is active" and check "Remain open after call ends". If you don't want Call Status windows cluttering your screen, you can also log calls in iCal or as a text log.

At the moment I use growl to solve this problem. But not all notification settings in growl are working correctly.

The "Idle" notification when a call ends is not "sticky". Can you say more about what isn't working the way you expected?

Kind Regards,

Thanks a lot for your help.
I´ll check the "remain open after call ends" option. Does this affect the growl notification as well?

The limitation of 2 mobile phones is a bit frustrating. I have 3 mobile phones and I bought extra one bluetooth landline phone for my nice new Amego app. I would like implement them all via Bluetooth.

My problem is that I permanently miss incoming calls because my phones are spread in my house or garden, left in jackets, hijacked from my kids etc. Solely my media-center and the laptop can give me information's about incoming and missed calls because they are running on a fix place.

I use the growl notification and broadcast the notification to the media-center but some of notification presets like the nice "Video" disappear after the caller hangs up but even when I explicit select "stay always on screen" . I want see also missed calls if I was not in the room. At the moment I take the "iCal" preset instead of "Video" from Growl and this is even in "idle" sticky.

Thanks Christian

I'll increase the number of cell phones allowed to 4. That's an easy one line change. Some of your other observations appear to questions about Growl. If you describe a reproducible example where Phone Amego isn't behaving the way you expected, I'm happy to investigate.
