iPhone4 BT connection

Wondered if anyone had a solution to my problem.

I have used Phone Amego for one day successfully. Thank goodness downloaded manually first and not bought direct from the App Store!

I have an iPhone 4.

Everything worked first time, even here in the UK.

Then overnight I reboot my macbook pro and my iphone.

The next morning....
...my mac thinks it is connected to my iphone via BT (greyed out BT icon with 3 black dots). Phone Amego thinks my iphone is Connected and Ready using the Handsfree Gateway.

But on my iphone the BT icon is greyed out and not connected to anything.

Any Phone Amego attempts to dial just disappear eventually with nothing happening.

I have tried removing all devices from mac, iphone and Phone Amego.
I have also tried removing the /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file and rebooting devices etc.

No luck.

Any ideas? I really do wonder why bluetooth is actually included in the iPhone?!?

From your description, it sounds like your iPhone is not responding to Bluetooth requests from your Mac.

The next step is to enable the "Debug Log" under the "More" tab to see the data exchange with your iPhone. If your iPhone is stuck for some reason, you may need to restart it.

Kind Regards,
