Modem now answers the call

Hi, thanks for the last reply the update and or changing the CAll Status option fixed that :)

New one is that the landline no longer rings and If i don't manually clear the line it shows as engaged to the next caller.

Again the kit is:
Mac osx 10.7.5
latest phone amego 1.4_7
Mac mini mid 2007
US robotics USB modem model number USR5637

That sounds like a possible modem or configuration issue. My suggestion is to quit Phone Amego, unplug and replug your modem to reset it, and than relaunch Phone Amego.

If that doesn't help, please Email me directly so we can investigate the issue. Phone Amego has a Debug Log you can enable under the More tab which shows the data exchange with your modem. This should help us confirm what is being sent to your modem and whether it is responding as expected.
