Bluetooth network problem

I have just discovered Amego and am giving it a try with the intent to purchase today if it works for me however I am having an issue that is preventing me from testing it out.

I cannot seem to get past getting my Bluetooth on my iMac to connect with my iPhone 5.

My iMac appears to see my iphone because it is listed in my BT devices. It shows that it is paired with my iPhone but when I try to connect to the network I get the following error message:

The Bluetooth network is unavailable

I do have other BT devices linked to my iMac that are currently working such as a Bose wireless speaker and my wireless trackpad.

I am sure it is user error so I am asking is there something I am missing while trying to do this?

There is a video showing the correct pairing procedure here: http://www.sustworks.com/pa_guide/videoBluetooth.html
and Bluetooth troubleshooting tips here: http://www.sustworks.com/pa_guide/btTro ... oting.html

Bluetooth can be fussy. If you don't follow the steps in the correct order, it won't work.

My suggestion is to tell each device to forget about the other and start over.
