Choosing Audio support on Mac

Postby 99guspuppet » Mon Nov 24, 2014 4:14 pm

Using Amego I was able to make calls with a very basic cellphone ( Virgin CDM8074VM ) with the Mac audio connected to integral Mac headphone out and USB microphone.
I was unable to use a bluetooth headset ( with microphone ) as the audio connection. There were no error messages and no audio. BT headset worked when Amego was disabled.

As you know, Bluetooth is a two-way radio system with a limited number of channels and profiles. Apple provides the Bluetooth software stack used on the Mac. This software does not easily support connecting with a Bluetooth cell phone and Bluetooth headset at the same time and routing audio between them. I'm afraid the physical nature of what you are trying to do is beyond what is currently supported.

Kind Regards,
