Help with caller ID

I cannot seem to be able to get it to display the caller ID of the incoming call. Using USB modem with home line. The caller ID works OK with Cidney so it must be something in my setup. If I use PA for dial out it displays the phone on two computers as expected via Growl but when I have incoming call it does not. Any suggestions?

First, which USB modem do you have? Second, Phone Amego includes a "Phone Amego / Debug Log" that allows you to see the exchange between your modem and computer. You can open this log window under the "More" tab, or by pressing Control while you select Phone Amego from the menu bar item. The log should give us a clue what Phone Amego got from your phone and whether it should have displayed some caller ID text. Are you using Phone Amego's built-in "Call Status Display", or only Growl? Which computer failed to display the caller ID as expected.

Please Email me directly with more detailed debugging information. The forum is best for questions and answers that are likely to be of interest to other readers.

Kind Regards,

Not sure how to email you directly, the contact pane is empty on the site.
It is Apple USB modem, got it a couple of years ago. I am using both PA and Growl as far as I understand.
Nothing is displayed on the screen on either computer when incoming call is processed.

Here is sample debug log. I changed the name and number for privacy reasons.

You can Email directly at psichel "at" sustworks "dot" com. I'm not sure what you mean by "the contact pane is empty on the site". If you point your browser at "http://www.sustworks.com", there should be contact information.

Next, the line from the log that reads:
<cr><lf>NMBR = 18888888888<cr><lf>DATE = 0206<cr><lf>TIME = 1559<cr><lf>NAME = SMITH,JOHN<cr><lf>

Indicates that Phone Amego is seeing a caller ID record, so there might be some other option that is disabling the caller ID display. If you could Email me a screen snapshot of the "More" tab, that would help.
