Your website (http://www.bluem.net/en/mac/cliclick/) only seems to show version 2.3.1.

Hello,

I am having Mavericks problems as well and have tried v1.3.5 with some success if I follow your uninstall process and reinstall. It seems to work for a while that way, but it NEVER survives a reboot, and does not appear in the Accessibility list so I can authenticate it. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thank you,

Rob

I too have a slightly strange problem with the combination of KeyClick 1.3.5 and 10.9.2 on my iMac. No problem at all with the same combination on my MBP!

On Starting/Re-starting I always get the downloaded KeyClick.app warning. I have tried un-installing and re-installing thrice now and with Safari and Firefox.
But I have found a workaround that ensures it does work.

After starting, initially ignore the warning.
Open System Prefs/Keyclick/More Options
Pause for a couple of seconds for the check tick to appear in Use System Sound
Select Basic, pause a second and check it works. Then it always does.
Now hit Open on the downloaded app warning.
It then works perfectly until I next start the machine.

Weird :D

Thanks edsora, for the workaround! I was getting very tired of uninstalling and reinstalling every time I re-started!

With that said, I agree that a fix would be most welcome...

Thanks again,

Rob

Here's another solution:

Open up the Preference Pane Package, find the KeyclickServer and drag it to the Accessibility Settings section in the in Security and Privacy Preferences. This will enable the Keyclick Server to monitor for keystrokes.

Kind Regards,
