mouse click won't turn off

The "mouse button click" setting won't stay off. It says it's off, but when I go away from my computer for a while and come back (and I suppose it's sleeping in the interval), I come back and mouse clicks are making noise again — despite the setting being still set to "off". If I toggle it on and off again it goes away, but will return next time.

I'm on Yosemite, by the way.

Side question: will this app ever seen an update at any point, or a new version? It's been a LONG time since any updates and I actually rely on it a lot on my quiet Macbook keyboard. I'd be more than happy to pay again :)

I'm not sure why the mouse click setting is unreliable for you. I've never seen this before. Make sure you only have one instance of the KeyclickServer running by restarting your computer.

Yes, Keyclick could see an update. Mostly to be more compatible with Yosemite's security and privacy settings. Keyclick has never been a financial windfall, but I enjoy the app as well.

Kind Regards,

That seemed to go away somehow -- not sure what happened there.
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'd happily fork over money for a new version -- been coasting on my initial purchase price for a very long time now. :)
