Having Issues With Key Click.

Postby LarryWalker » Tue Apr 24, 2018 5:38 am

Hello,

I have a 1938 Hammond BC organ and I was lucky to get for $100 this past fall. I have toyed around with it for a while (not really knowing what I've been doing), but I have had no luck with ever getting the classic Hammond key click. I also have a 1962 Hammond L-103 and I have had that for a while. I know the L-103s have key click reduction by separating frequencies. Besides the percussion on the L-103 and the chorus on the BC I can't really get the Organs to sound different. I don't know if this is a restriction on the BC or if I am just not using the correct drawbar settings. Please leave suggestions, I would really like to know what I am doing wrong and more about these specific organs. Feel free to tell me about how it works, I am familiar with the inside of an organ because I have re-purposed some amps from old conn organs to make Hi-Fi stereo amps.

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
