No out going, No incoming

osx 10.9.4, phoneamego 1.4.29 zoom modem

no audio heard on anything - in coming and out going

HUD appears on out going I see change of status, connecting ring, but no call is made

i would send debug log but i don't know where it is stored

It sounds like your USB modem may have crashed. Modems are actually small computers running software these days.
Here's how to reset it:

1. Quit Phone Amego (PA)
2. Unplug your USB modem
3. Plug your modem back in.
4. Re-launch Phone Amego.
5. (usually not needed) Remove your modem as a telephone device in PA and then add it back.

That should get your modem back up and running correctly with PA.

yes the modem was at fault, The modem was not getting enough power. when I plugged it directly into lap top rather than my USB hub (powered) it started to work.

I noticed that too. Modems can be sensitive to getting enough power, or even crash from time-to-time. In my experience, they run fine for weeks or even months but can occasionally die. If they do, just hot plug it to reset the modem.
