Applescript to mute un mute keyclick

Postby nsb3000 » Fri Feb 04, 2011 2:29 pm

Hi,

I was looking for a way to mute and unmute keyclick via AppleScript. I did not find one, but I found out you can use system events to call the global hotkey, and thought others might find this handy:

Code: Select all
tell application "System Events"
   -- Enter Command-Option--Control-T
   key code 17 using {command down, option down, control down}
end tell

Thanks,
Nathaniel

I use shush to mute and unmute on the MAC.
It has a nice feature whereby you can hold to unmute e.g. push to talk.
Have a look at;
